Safe travels have a good flight
I was on this plane (N778UA) in 2016, ORD-FRA. This was back when the plane had the 3-3-3 configuration. It seems that they ripped the screens out, so I assume this specific triple-seven is no longer used for long-haul flights.
How long was the flight?
About two hours long!

Have to say this airplane is taxiing a bit too fast.
You never know what you'll catch on video when flying into ORD! That Contour CRJ taxiing in and as a great surprise, that Qatar Airways Gulfstream scooting by! You lucked out with the approach, coming in over Lake Michigan, beautiful view of the Loop! Were you making one of your famed day trips?
For sure! Tons of diversity at ORD! And I definitely lucked out sitting on that side of the aircraft, the clear weather, and the great view of downtown and Lake Michigan! And yep, another one of my trademark day trips lol!

737 max 8 still not good enough, boing were responsible for all those deaths after two of there max crashed because boing failed to tell the pilots and airlines of the ecase system. SO WHY ARE BOING GETTING AWAY WITH IT THEY SHOULD BE MADE TO SCRAP THE MAX AS PUNISHMENT AND AMERICAN AIR SAFETY SHOULD BE INDEPENDENT NOT IN BOINGS POCKETS 👎👎

As the FA began her arrival announcement, she sounded on the verge of a laughing fit--something she found amusing! A day trip to MCI? No mention if this a/c was continuing on elsewhere.
She sure did! And not quite. I was itching to fly back to see the new MCI terminal again a year later, but this was sort of an extra day trip hopping around to some different cities on Southwest with my RR points. And this wasn’t a through flight, but this aircraft continued onto MDW afterward. Thanks for watching!

Denver to Houston is a short hop for a triple 7!
Yeah, only about a two-hour flight! However, airlines are know to schedule widebodies on shorter domestic routes between hubs or on high demand routes. Airlines see it as a way to utilize the aircraft that would otherwise be parked, thus not making them any revenue. Last year I flew on a 767-300 and A330-300 on Delta between ATL & MCO, which is only a one hour flight, so half the time of this one!
I have flown Denver to Chicago and back on a Triple 7 five times and I also did Los Angeles to Denver on a Boeing 787-9.

Sadly you can't hear the growl from economy :(
I love the 777 engine “growl” sound as much as everyone else, but the problem is that you have to be positioned in front of the engine to hear it. On the 777, that typically means sitting in first/business class which is much more expensive than main cabin or economy unless you have some status or FF points. I do try to change up my seating positions when I fly, but considering I pay for all of my flights out of pocket, I have to keep it reasonable sometimes. Now, I don’t mind paying a little extra for say Comfort Plus, Main Cabin Extra, preferred, or even Early Bird on Southwest as I’ve done many times, but those options are usually far cheaper than paying a few hundred of dollars more for first/business class!
